Bingay It’s bingo hosted by a drag queen, and you can win prizes. At Connections Nightclub from 7:30pm, the balls drop at 8pm, it’s free to play, but get down early to get a seat.

POP! Nothing but bright, bubbly, sugar coated pop tunes at this popular mid-week get together hosted by resident drag star BarbieQ.  Things get underway at 10pm, drag contest Dragathon is on early in the night, more drag shows at 1am.

Swing on This four of Australia’s best musical theatre voices are in town for a show that celebrates swing music. Michael Falzon (We Will Rock You, The War of the Worlds Arena Tour), Luke Kennedy (The Voice, The Ten Tenors), Rob Mills (Wicked, Ghost the Musical) and Ben Mingay (Wonderland, House of Bond) deliver a modern and audacious take on all-time swing classics from Sinatra to Bublé and featuring well-swung interpretations of hits from Oasis, John Farnham and The Proclaimers.

Drag Nation At Connections Nightclub Donna Dutchme from the Northern Territory is joining Harvest Dubois and a special guest to show what it takes to be the winner of a national drag competition.  

Must Be The Music Every Friday Connections DJ’s play with you and tease you and they lead you through a journey through disco, house, progressive and even a touch of techno.

Jungle Funk is on at The Bird it’s a brand new club night dedicated to shining a light on heavy, deep world rhythms aimed at the dance floor. Expect to hear Afro beat, Latin, Cumbia, Soca, Highlife, Soukouss, Zouk , Samba . Tropical Disco and Caribbean funk. DJ’s include WARSAME, climate change and Charlie Bucket. Bongo Loco will be providing live percussion.

March for Safe Schools The Safe Schools Program is a vital program for Queer Students across Australia. The program combats bullying, homophobia, transphobia and discrimination in schools and it’s efforts have been shown to save lives. The federal government has vowed to cut all funding to the program at the end of June this year, members of the LGBT+ community and it’s members have organised this event to defend the program. Things kick off in the Murray Street Mall at 1pm.

Kirin J Callinan at The Rosemount  Guitarist, activist and frequent nudist Kirin J Callinan plays The Rosemount from around 8pm. Dream Rimmy, Oosterbanger and DJ Lindsay Slohand support.

Dancing in Space at Late Night Valentine Dancing in Space returns to Late night Valentine with an all star line up to bring you only the finest disco and boogie sounds This time in the newly renovated late night valentine basement. DJs include Roland the Realest, Jane Jaya Ayres, Lee Wilson, Charlie Bucket and James A.

There’s Something About Milly Head down to Connections Nightclub for a fundraiser for one of community’s favourite DJs as she tackles the challenges of cancer head on. Only a few tickets are left. 

Love All at The Court  The Court Hotel is inviting everyone to leave your nasty backhand slices behind and instead get ready to show that true love is the same, regardless of sexuality. A party for marriage equality with a special tennis theme. Will Margaret Court make an appearance, we wonder?  

Beauty Shop 2: Back In The Salon One of Connies’ most popular stage shows  transforming the main room into a camp salon of whimsy and lip-syncing with all your favourite local drag stars, show is on around 1am.

The Court Hotel’s weekly Court Karaoke sessions kicks off around 5:30pm, join Feminem the Future for a sing-a-long.
