Frank Gohier and Chayni Henry

Artists Frank Gohier and Chayni Henry have joined forces to present a selection of their paintings based on the Kimberly landscape and their home city of Darwin. Gohier is an established artist who draws on his love of American cowboy sub-cultures in his pop-inspired work, while Henry’s poignant, intensely biographical paintings reveal funny and often awkward moments in her life. Stories from the North, Tales from the West is now showing at the Fremantle Arts Centre and runs until September 2. Entry is free. www.fac.org.au
