Arlo Parks Ambiguous Desire has been one of the great albums of 2026. Now the album’s closing track Floette has a new version with Parks teaming up with John Glacier. The tune has been described as a soaring celebration of queer joy.
Meshell Ndegeocello and Cat Power – Don’t You Want Me
Meshell Ndegeocello’s upcoming duets album is getting a lot of attention. First she released a laid back version of the George Michael – Aretha Franklin song I Knew You Were Waiting For Me with Cynthia Erivo. Now she’s shared this duet with Cat Power that takes The Human League’s most famous tune into new territory. The record Synonym is out 2 October.
Carly Rae Jepsen – Don’t Leave me on the Dance Floor
If you feel an ABBA vibe to this track you’re not mistaken. Jepsen freely admits she rushed home to write a tune after being inspired by ABBA London ABBAtar show. The tune is from Jepsen’s upcoming Day and Night album which will feature a massive 24 tunes, one for each hour of the day. The video is directed by Jeremy O. Harris, the acclaimed queer playwright.
