Every Monday we take a look across the musical landscape and cast our eye over the new arrivals. The freshest tracks and videos that have recently landed.
This week we check out new offerings from Meek, Soft Cell, Peaches, Zedd teams up with Shania Twain, and there’s a great collab between Adam Oh, Cakes Da Killa and Baby Tate.
Adam Oh, Cakes Da Killa & Baby Tate – Birds and the Bees
We’re loving this three way collaboration between Adan Oh, Cakes Da Killa and Baby Tate which asks if we’re teaching everything when we have conversations about the birds and the bees, the urges and the needs.
Meek – Terminally Verbal
This is the fourth great track from Meek following Fabulous, Beautiful Freeks, and Expensive Taste. Surely an album should be arriving about now.
Soft Cell – The Rainbow Room
Soft Cell have shared another tune from their forthcoming album Danceteria, which is filled with references to New York City. This tracks about meeting someone at the famous Rainbow Room. The album was recorded before the passing of Marc Almond’s longtime collaborator and bandmate Dave Ball.
Shania Twain & Zedd – Still The One (Candy Crush)
Did anyone need a dance remix of Shania Twain’s Still the One? It’s part of the Candy Crush series and it comes with a camp video clip. They should have remake Man I Feel Like a Woman, there’s a million drag queens who would have snapped that up.
Peaches – You’re Alright
Peaches is morphing into all sorts of monsters in the clip for their latest track. Peaches most recent album No Lube So Rude is a contender for Canada’s Polaris Music Prize later this month.
