Right Bach at Ya!

Mmmmm… culture. It’s a dish best served with fevered intensity and a languid sense of style, the kind that comes from certainty of skill but the unexpected delight of how it’s delivered. That’s why when Shaun Lee-Chen appears as part of the Summer Series 2009… well, you better pray you have tickets because it’s sure to be an amazing show. Lee-Chen is a violinist who, in 2007, took out the Symphony Australia Young Performer of the Year award. His appearance at Government House Ballroom promises to be a spell-binding violin recital, one which will cover the sonatas of Bach and Brahms plus Ravel’s Tzigane. Shaun Lee-Chen’s virtuosity will be on show Monday January 19 at 11am. Don’t miss the week after when Aivale Cole gives a vocal recital on Tuesday January 23 that’ll be sure to raise the roof.
