Skullery Made

Gav Fielding’s forthcoming exhibition at Keith + Lottie is not to be missed. Fielding explores the rather intense dichotomy of shopping and death and how, as a society, we pride ourselves on saving lives… yet pride ourselves on spending money too. It’s a relationship that Fielding explores through paintings and printed materials creating a body of work embellished with skulls, scribble, scrawl and a visceral density, one which intrigues. The exhibition Buy and/or Die opens at Keith + Lottie on Wednesday January 28 from 6pm and features a limited edition zine. It runs until Friday February 13 2009.
