Lo, the poet's doeth… festival!

This one deserves plenty of prior warning. Why? Because it’s going to be positively huge! The Apropos Poetry Festival hosted by Writing WA hits UWA on Wednesday February 25 and runs for four days. The festival is industry focused and offers expert guidance in three crucial ways: individual manuscript assessments, masterclasses and panel events. Ivor Indyk from Giramondo and Heat will be on hand to appraise work along with Judith Beveridge from Meanjin, while John Kinsella will be heading up masterclasses limited to eight participants. Elsewhere panels will examine a multitude of areas from publishing to print and everything in between. For a full list of events and opportunities check out the programme online.
