Tales from the Tundra!

Vogue called them the new national treasures, but Romance Was Born are far more than that: they are burgeoning cultural icons and style zeitgeists of our time! This Sydney based label returns this winter with the wonderful and wacky collection that is Yeti Magic, a homage to the wild woolly mysticism of the tundra and snow capped peak. Crochet, leather fringing, embroidery and even corporate power dressing (pictured) all get the Romance Was Born touch. The result? A collection that brims with nostalgia, whimsy and moments of pure eccentricity. Romance Was Born’s Yeti Magic hits in February. Check it out at Dilettante in Perth, Harry Highpants in Northbridge and Ricarda in Dalkeith.
