When opportunity knocks…

It’s that time of the year again when everywhere… and I mean everywhere… seems to open up their doors and let a little luck roll out. In fact, there are so many opportunities going on that it’s hard to know where to start. So without further ado here are OUTinPerth’s favourite opportunities for March, covering a range of topics and art forms. First off is the Semi Permanent Open Brief. This opportunity is truly unique in that it isn’t about how amazing your graphic design skills are – rather how good your idea is. The premise? Design new promotional tools for Canadian Club. There’s over $10 000 in prizes available with logos and design elements available online. Entries close March 16. Next off and it’s over to Newcastle where the National Young Writers Festival (NYWF) are looking for creative types to put together a proposal of potential magnificence to make NYWF even more magnificent than it already is. Application forms are available by emailing Amy Ingram on amy.nywf@gmail.com with entries closing March 31. Is broadcast your thing? Project Next is looking for reporters, producers, camera/directors, editors, graphic artists, researchers and web content producers to help build a new current affairs show from the ground up. Grab an application form from online with deadline March 16.
