The Medallion At Perry Lakes

4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathroom + Powder room  |  Priced at $788,000

The Perry Lakes many readers will remember as the scene of our Inter-School athletics carnivals has recently been transformed into a housing estate. The outdated stadium has been replaced by many high quality design homes, and the most outstanding of these homes is the Web and Browne –Neaves Medallion.

The Medallion is designed on a narrow block and offers all the grandness and impressive high quality finishes expected from the prestige builder. From the impressive entry statement, past the floating staircase, to the large living areas there is a sense of openness, light and balance.

The balance is achieved by a series of interlinked water features, both below the floating staircase, and outside the cleverly designed and placed feature windows, which really open up the area whilst bringing a sense of serenity by combining the elements of fire and water. This balance is skilfully achieved by placing a gas burning fire above the windows out overlooking the lap pool.

Features to Love

The open space, light and balance skilfully achieved with placement of water features, glass and windows.

The Chef’s Kitchen complete with adjoining scullery/ walk in pantry.

Generous Primary Bedroom with massive walk through robe and quality bathroom.

On the Downside

For such an impressive home I could not help but wonder why all of the bedrooms were within the same living space. Preference for me would have been to have the ‘adult’ space in a separate area to the 3 other bedrooms and bathroom.
