Wut? No Le1f for Perth

LE1FNYC rapper Le1f is currently touring Australia but will not be playing in Perth.

The queer rapper had included a show at Connections Nightclub on Friday June 7 but the club has assured OUTinPerth that it was a mistake on his promoter’s part. When the Perth listing was included on some promotional material it quickly spread to several internet sites.

On May 31 the rapper updated his Twitter account saying that his Perth show had been ‘cancelled’.

Le1f is one of rap’s first openly queer artists (and a favourite in the OUTinPerth office). Last year he released his first official release, an EP in collaboration with Boody which is available on itunes. The rappers mixtape, that is distributed through SoundCloud,  has become an underground success and features the tune ‘Wut‘.

Check out the video of Le1f’s track ‘Day Spa’ below, explicit and probably not NSFW.
