Flying Start to P!nk's Australian Tour

pink1(1)Wham Bam Thank You Mam and The Truth About Love

Breathtaking, inspiring, entertaining and provocative, Pink has yet again proven that she is the Queen of Pop, the Goddess of the Stage and the Mistress of the art of Performance. As her Australian tour kicked off at the Perth Arena last night the superstar was dancing, flying and piano playing.  In the live setting Pink produces some powerfully expressive vocals.

Playfully enticing the audience into her world, Pink successfully utilises her music, choreography and graphical imagery to push the societal boundaries of sex, love, BDSM, classic male/female roles, sexuality and homo-eroticism. Pink has captured the unspoken world of sex and sexual encounters, and taken it to the masses.

Mixing music and performance styles, Pink transitions from suggestive erotica to acoustic love songs, continues to develop our perceptions of love and sex in the show.

Sexual tension and energy is palatable and at one point whilst wearing a bondage style outfit she performs aerobatics in a sling like device and sensually lowers herself into the crowd, followed by a sensational dance routine with her troupe.

Pink is a true provocateur, a modern feminist.

Although, the messages of the performances are strong and forceful, Pink chats with the audience about her life making fun of herself, her crew and the audience. Announcing at one stage whilst lying breathless on the stage floor “This is why I fly, it’s so much harder to dance”, and fly she does.

This show is just sensational. The set, costumes, lighting, graphics and performance all perfectly complement each other.

Whether you are a diehard Pink fan or are just looking to be entertained The Truth About Love tour will provide you with more than a sensational night out.

P!nk plays four sold out shows at The Perth Arena before embarking on a massive trip around Australia that will see her play another 42 shows.
