New Restaurant Circa Impresses

New Beaufort Street restaurant Circa makes a good first impression. The sleek eatery with it’s dark decor opened last week and the food is tasty and immaculately presented.

Located opposite popular Mt Lawley restaurant Cantina, the new kid in town’s menu is in similar territory. Which is not a bad thing when the restaurant across the road is regularly booked out.  They’re sure to pick up lots of business from their established neighbour.

We’d sampled the poached chicken salad, featuring a smattering of root vegetables, beetroot, turnips and roasted garlic and thin slices of white chicken breast. On top was crunchy radicchio leaves and flavour filled walnuts.

The gnocchi was pan fried and packed with taste. Although at the first the meals did not look overly generous they were very filling and well priced.

The team also makes great coffee and have great table service, this could easily be the location for some future very long lunches.

Circa is located at 676 Beaufort Street, Mount Lawley
