New Tune from Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan

PonystepBack in 2000 The Sugarbabes burst onto the music scene with their debut single ‘Overload’. The trio of Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan had great success with the first track, which they penned with the help of Cameron McVeigh (Mr Neneh Cherry) and Felix Howard (former Madonna backing dancer.)

Siobhan quit the group after they released their debut album and was replaced by Heidi Range from Atomic Kitten. A few years down the track Mutya Buena quit the group and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. In 2009 Keisha Buchanan left the band and was replaced by Jade Ewan.

Now the original three members are back together performing as Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan. They’ve just released a sample of their new work on their Soundcloud account. The track ‘Flatline’ was produced by Dev Hynes who performs as Lightspeed Champion and Blood Orange.

Also working with the girls on their comeback album has been Emile Sande, William Orbit, Richard X and Shaznay Lewis from All Saints. Meanwhile the other Sugarbabes – Heidi, Jade and Amelle are also back in the studio working on a new album.
