Rosie O'Donnell Heading to Perth

Rosie O'DonnellRosie O’Donnell is heading to Perth in 2014 to perform her stand up comedy act.

The gay actress and comedian is set to play the Perth Concert Hall on Tuesday February 4th 2014. O’Donnell first drew the attention of the queer community when she starred alongside Madonna in the 1992 film ‘A League of Their Own’. Rosie’s gone on to have roles in ‘Queer as Folk’ and most recently signed up for a spot on gay family show ‘The Fosters’.

Aside from her roles in feature films like ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ and ‘The Flintstones’, Rosie has also had a great on talk shows from her day time chat show, to being the host of ‘The View’. She joined Oprah’s OWN channel to host her own program again, but it was cancelled last year due to low ratings.

Rosie’s also a big supporter of Broadway, she played herself in ‘Smash’ and spent millions of dollars to bring Boy George’s west end hit ‘Taboo’ to Broadway.

Rosie O’Donnell is at the Perth Concert Hall on Tuesday 14 February, tickets are available from Ticketek from 9am on Monday 21 October.
