Kim Ann Foxman for Mardi Gras

Kim Ann Foxman-001Kim Ann Foxman will be one of the featured performers at Sydney’s 2014 Mardi Gras.

The three week long festival will run from Sunday February 9 through to Sunday March 2, 2014.

Foxman was a vocalist on both albums by Hercules and Love Affair and has gone on to release her own house influenced tunes. She’s also collaborated with Maya Jane Coles and remixed artists like The Xx.

Foxman will perform at the official Mardi Gras party following the parade on Saturday March 1st.

Also announced fore the party is DJ Dan Slater and Yo! M.A.F.I.A.

Drag star Courtney Act will bring her cabaret show ‘Boy Like Me’ to Sydney for just one night and Bob Downe will present a brand new show ‘Bob,Sweat and Tears’.

Rounding out the theatrical offerings is Trevor Ashley’s comical show ‘Liza on an E’ that played in Perth earlier this year, plus a show called ‘Everything I know I learned from Madonna’ and a musical theatre show based on Oprah.
