Despite rumours that she may not be returning to the show’s second season, Laura Prepon is reportedly all set to reprise her role on “Orange is the New Black”.

Prepon, also known for her role as Donna on ‘That 70’s Show’, plays Alex Vause, the penitentiary’s resident bespectacled lesbian heartthrob.

The Netflix show centres around middle class bisexual woman Piper Kerman, who is imprisoned for carrying drug money a decade earlier. Kerman attempts to keep her relationship with her fiance alive while serving her sentence, and she finds her ex-girlfriend Alex (Prepon) is imprisoned in the same facility.

The show and its diverse cast of women has become a breakout hit. The show’s creator, Jenji Kohan, reportedly said that the second season will put more focus on the ensemble cast, including Danielle Brooks (Taystee), Taryn Manning (Pennsatucky), Kate Mulgrew (Red) and Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes).
