Sweden Pick Their Eurovision Entry

sanna NielsenSanna Neilsen has been announced as Sweden’s representative for Eurovision 2014. Neilsen will perform the song ‘Undo’.

Neilsen is was a child star in Sweden, she released her first album when she was eleven years old. Last year she put out her seventh album of original music. She’s also released a Christmas record.

Sweden won the competition in 2012 with Loreen’s ‘Euphoria’ which was the biggest Eurovision hit in over 20 years. Prior to that Sweden was successful in 1999 when Charlotte Nillson sang ‘Take me to Your Heaven’. The Swedes also took out the top prize in 1991 and 1984 but it’s their 1974 win with ‘Waterloo’ by ABBA that they are most remembered for.

Eurovision 2014 is in Denmark in the beginning of May.
