RuPaul Continues 'Tranny' Debate on Twitter

After the flames of controversy surrounding his use of the word ‘tranny’ were flamed anew following a discussion on the WTF podcast with Marc Maron, RuPaul has taken to Twitter to further defend his use of the T word.

Buzzfeed published an article stating that Logo TV, the station that broadcasts ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ had distanced itself from the drag performer due to his use of language some have deemed offensive, and quoted a representative from the broadcaster as saying:

“These comments did not come from Logo. We are committed to supporting the entire LGBT community and will not feature any anti-trans rhetoric on our shows.”
