Proximity Festival Announces Lineup

Proximity Festival

The lineup for this year’s Proximity Festival has been announced, including artists from Perth, wider Australia as well as overseas.

The festival was founded in 2011, and aims to provide a platform for a range of artists to provide intimate, one on one experiences for the audience.

The Perth locals appearing at the Festival include James Berlyn, who recently starred in a production of ‘The Mikado’, as well as Perth Festival interactive work ‘You Once Said Yes’ and his solo production ‘Crash Course’.

Jen Jamieson is another local rtist to be featured in the festival who creates works using physical performance and film. Perth playwright and driector Ian Sinclair joins the festival, as does Alina Tang, Tanya Lee and Emily Parsons-Lloyd. Theatre group Toyi-Toyi Theatre will also be performing.
