Sunset Coasters – It Just Gets Better!

Sick of the same old, same old… looking for some variety in the after work social scene – then get along to a Sunset Coasters event!

Formed in 2008, Sunset Coasters is an informal social group open to people of all ages which meets at a different cafe, bar or pub in the Perth CBD each month on the third Wednesday of every month … without fail.

Unlike other ‘members only’ clubs or associations, Sunset Coasters has no formal membership process and no pressure. You just come along when you want to, meet up with friends and colleagues, enjoy the atmosphere of some of the latest small bars, pubs and cafes in the CBD and have a good time.

Better still, there’s no membership fee and no cover charge to attend a Sunset Coasters event – you just turn up at the designated venue each month (see the OUTinPerth Calendar or our website for details), buy your drinks over the bar, enjoy some light snacks and have a few laughs – it’s as simple as that!

We ended 2009 with a great Christmas party in one of Perth’s most exclusive penthouse apartments and 2010 looks like it will be a fantastic year with the brand new committee lining up some great venues to visit. We’re returning to some of the favourite (and most successful) venues from the last year or so and trying out some of the newest venues Perth’s small bar scene has to offer.

Sunset Coasters welcomes new faces – in fact, if you haven’t been to one of our events yet, we encourage you to come along and say hi – if you don’t, we will!

This month, we’re heading back to a favourite from 2009, the Lobby Bar at the Duxton Hotel, 1 St Georges Terrace Perth at 6pm ’til 8pm.

Remember – take a look at the Out in Perth calendar each month to find out where we’re meeting, or visit the Sunset Coasters website: www.sunsetcoasters.com

If you’d prefer to register for our monthly venue update, flick us an email at georgeperth@hotmail.com and we’ll add you to the email list.

See you at a Sunset Coasters event soon!
