The band will be showcasing new songs from their upcoming second EP. They’ve been nominated for the WAMI Award for ‘Best Urban Act’.

The Amani Consort previously made waves with their debut single ‘Attitude’, that made its way onto last year’s ‘Kiss My WAMI’ compilation CD. At the start of the WAMI festival, the group will be releasing their new single ‘Getting By’ for free download via Triple J Unearthed.

This year has been big for the band, performing at WA’s State of the Art Festival, performed in SIngapore as part of the SWAM music exchange and scored a spot on the West Coast Blues and Roots line up.

Catch The Amani Consort at the Ezra Pound Block Party at 5pm November 8th and find out about their upcoming gigs on their website.
