Lea DeLaria Takes Down Subway Preacher

Actor and comedian Lea DeLaria attracted attention on a New York subway when she took issue with a preacher speaking loudly against homosexuality.

DeLaria, who is well-known for her role as lesbian character Big Boo in ‘Orange is the New Black’ first tried to drown out the preacher by singing ’99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall’.

Later, she continued to speak over him as he preached on the subject of ‘Sodom and Gomorrah’, correcting his bible references and telling him she’d keep talking all the way to Queens.

Bystanders caught footage of the incident via cell phone, which can be seen below:
