The non-profit group, who have been delivering services to the GBTI community for over 40 years, was awarded for their work with Q-Life and the One Life Suicide Prevention Strategy.

The award has been welcomed by the organisations supporters. Larrissa Kozulin from Centrecare, the lead organisation for the One Life program said the groups work spread beyond the LGBTI community.

“The ongoing contribution that they make to the LGBTI community as well as the wider community in regards to suicide prevention ensures that everyone is supported and kept safe.” Ms Kozulin said.
