Get your diary out and get ready for some great nights out. A slew of great indie gigs have recently been announced from local bands, to interstate favorites and internationally acclaims acts.

RTRFM’s Boston Boogie!

Local community radio station RTRFM 92.1 are holding a fundraising gig at Northbridge’s newest live music venue The Boston on Saturday 17th October.

Boston Boogie! promises a night of rollicking rock ‘n’ roll, old-school garage, ‘60s psych and smooth soul sounds, with live sets from Perth soul quintet Boom! Bap! Pow!, ‘60s psych-garage gurus The High Learys and retro rockin’ newcomers Catzilla.

The Comedown

Semi-Decent, BEDROOM SUCK & Camp Doogs are presenting a gig called  THE COMEDOWN at The Bird on October 11th.

Topping the bill is a band with a great name, who also make great music – Scott and Charlene’s Wedding. Head down to the bird to hear their lo-fi anthems. Also on the bill is Melbourne duo Superstar and folk popster Tim Richmond.

Mono

A show that is destined to sell out very quickly is the tour from Japanese legends Mono. The band will kick off their Australian tour in Perth on December 4th before heading to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane. The band will then head over to New Zealand for a gig in Auckland.

Sufan Stevens

Internationally acclaimed artist Sufan Stevens will play the Red Hill Auditorium on March 2nd 2016. The singer is touring to promote his latest album ‘Carrie and Lowell’. His show will feature a full band and they’ll also play songs from his previous six albums. Tickets for this one will surely be snapped up pretty quickly.
