The lead singer of No Doubt had a successful career as both the front woman of a band and solo. Following No Doubt having a string of hit albums, and numerous guest appearances on other artists records, Gwen hit the big time with her fist solo track ‘What You Waiting For’.

Her first two solo albums were mega-sellers but when No Doubt reformed in 2008 they struggled to recreate the magic they previously had in the studio. The band dumped their album and headed out on a world tour.

Returning to the studio in 2012’s the band put out ‘Push and Shove’, but it wasn’t as popular as their previous work. Gwen took up a spot on the US version of ‘The Voice’.

Gwen started making an albun last year releasing the single ‘Baby Don’t Lie’ but the song didn’t fare well in the charts. Gwen dumped the whole album she’d recorded and started all over again.

Earlier this year her long term marriage to Bush lead singer Gavin Rosdale ended and it looks like Gwen’s found some new creativity penning the heartbreaking song ‘I Used to Love You’.
