'True Colours' to air during Screen Academy awards

Channel 9 will be screening ‘True Colours’ this week – a work from two Perth filmmakers tackling the issue of homophobic bullying in Australia.

Writer and producer Ben Croker spoke with OUTinPerth earlier this year explaining his goals for the project.

The short film is due to be screened as part of a showcase for The Western Australian Screen Academy, based at WAAPA on ECU’s Mt Lawley campus.

All films screened on Saturday’s showcase will be available to be voted on, which will be announced on Channel 9’s 9jumpin website.
