OUTinPerth Editor appears on Nine News

OUTinPerth’s Editor Graeme Watson appeared on Channel Nine’s 6pm news report yesterday.

Mr Watson commented on a story, covered by OUTinPerth, and other media outlets regarding a Christian school in Mandurah that has driven a 7 year old girl out of the school after they discovered her father was gay.

The school had asked that the young girl didn’t mention her father’s sexuality or his partner.

“To say that you can’t talk about a certain member of your family is just out of touch with reality.” Mr Watson said in the report.

The news report has since been embedded in many prominent publications including popular international LGBTIQ+ website Towleroad.
