The piece will be performed in Perth’s Langley Park under the stars in association with the West Australian Opera.

Gianna Schicchi is an opera that has it all: betrayal, love, greed, subterfuge and bribery. Featuring one of the most famous and loved arias, ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’, seasoned opera-goers and newcomers alike will recognise the iconic song.

Douglas McNicol will be performing in the role of Gianni Schicchi, with soprano Kiandra Howarth as Schicchi’s daughter. Performers Fiona Campbell, Virgilio Marino, Katja Webb, Matthew Lester and Mark Anderson will bring their talents to the stage, along with Lucy Mervik, Andrew Collis and more.

WAO Artistic Director Brad Cohen will lead the performance with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, for a unforgettable night under the stars.

This FREE event will be at Perth’s Langley Park on Saturday 6th February at 8pm, with family entertainment from 6pm.
