Actress Cate Blanchett will discuss climate change, marriage equality and her new film ‘Carol’ on tonight’s edition of ‘7:30’ on the ABC.

Blanchett has been receiving rave reviews for her latest film ‘Carol’, an adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith novel.

Originally published as ‘The Price of Salt’ the book tells the story of a retail worker who falls in love with one of her customers.

Blanchett will discuss the film and her thoughts on marriage equality in Australia with host Sabra Lane on tonight’s show.
