The theatre world is excited about the announcement earlier this week that Bette Midler will be returning to Broadway in 2017 to star in a new production of the musical ‘Hello Dolly’.

Singer / actor Christine Pedi, who’s currently appearing in the long running off-Broadway production ‘Newsical’ has delivered a hilarious video showing other famous actresses auditioning for the part.

Pedi delivers some funny impersonations of Broadways other grand dames including Liza Minnelli, Patti LuPone, Julie Andrews and Bernadette Peters. Ever wondered what Julie Andrews singing Beyonce might sound like?
