Kitten and Lou. Two girls. One a drag king, the other a performer who would give most drag queens a run for their money are in Teatro 1 at the Pleasure garden every night at 9.15pm this week till February 10.

This show has more costume changes than a Cher concert, more layers than a rainbow cake and tells a simple love story through the language of Vaudeville and burlesque.

The physical comedy is reminiscent of the best of the silent films. Using movement, dance, an unseen narrator and the clever device of inserting the performers into archival film footage.

These two astonishing women will touch your heart and your funny bone. Need I mention there is a fair amount of skin on display? Lou has an impressive bulge and Kitten wears her pasties proudly.

If you love a curled lash and a glitter moustache you will love this show.

Kitten ‘N Lou: OVEREXPOSED will be at Teatro 1 until Wednesday 10th February. Tickets available at Fringeworld.com.au
