The inaugural event focuses around the International World AIDS Day theme of “Getting to ZERO: ZERO new infections; ZERO AIDS related deaths; ZERO discrimination”.

The WA AIDS Council is inviting artists to create new works in response to the word ‘ZERO’ or the number 0 with proceeds shared among artists and the WA AIDS Council.

The arts event and exhibition will launch on World AIDS Day, Thursday December 1st 2016 at the PS Art Space (PSAS) in Fremantle.

Announcing the project the WA AIDS Council said this is a unique opportunity for people to demonstrate support for people living with HIV and for those who have died with AIDS related illnesses.

If you’d like to get involved an artist brief outlining full details of the initiative can be obtained by emailing Pamela Haskell Mahon, Communications Officer at the WA AIDS Council.

Expressions of Interest close Friday August 26th.
