Pallenberg starred opposite Jane Fonda in the iconic 60’s sci-fi film but her voice was dubbed by another actress. The film has been recognised as a cult classic and many viewers assumed that Pallenberg’s character was a lesbian.

A successful fashion model and occasional actress, Pallenberg spent time with the Dolce Vita in Italy as a teenager, before hanging out at Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York. She was successful Paris fashion model and a muse to The Rolling Stones.

Pallenberg fist met the band in Munich in 1965 before they were famous, she later had a romantic relationship with band member Brian Jones.

In 1967 she left Jones and moved in with Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, they remained a couple until 1980 and had three children together.

The actress also made a guest appearance in the TV show Absolutely Fabulous where she appeared in a dream sequence as the devil on Edina Monsoon’s shoulder, opposite Marianne Faithful’s angel.
