When Justin Timberlake offered a glimpse of his new album earlier this week it looked like he’d taken a change in direction and was about to release a alt-country album.
The video for the single Filthy has just hit the internet and it’s not anywhere close to being the country hoe-down that was expected.
Instead it’s a funk filled sci-fi workout that sees Timberlake appear in a manner to a Steve Jobs presentation to launch a new dancing robot.
It’s an instantly catchy tune, but far from the sound fans were expecting to hear, and a step in a different direction from his last release, the sing-a-long pop tune Can’t Stop the Feeling.
