Magda, Joel , Urzila and Patrick will host the Mardi Gras broadcast

If you can’t make it to Sydney for this year epic 40th anniversary Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, SBS have got you covered.

They’ve just announced that Patrick Abboud, Joel Creasey, Magda Szubanski and Urzila Carlson will host their broadcast of the parade.

The combination of three top comedians, Carlson, Szubanski and Creasey alongside The Feed’s Patrick Abboud is sure to deliver many memorable one-liners.

This year marks 40 years since the political protest that sparked the annual Mardi Gras parade. International superstar Cher has been announced as the headline guest for the after party.

The parade will take place on Saturday 3rd March and will be broadcast the following evening, Sunday 4th March at 8:30pm on SBS.
