Florence + the Machine have dropped a new music video to announce the release of their upcoming fourth album High As Hope.

Vocalist Florence Welch says the first single Hunger is about “the ways we look for love in the things that are perhaps not love.”

“I guess I made myself more vulnerable in the song to encourage connection, because perhaps a lot more of us feel this way than we are able to admit,” Welch said.

“Sometimes when you can’t say it, you can sing it.”

High as Hope features collaborations with Kamasi Washington, Sampha, Tobias Jesso Jr, Kelsey Lu and Jamie xx – and pays tribute to punk pioneer Patti Smith.
