Want to hear a good story? Head down to 'Lit Live'

Tired of heading out to same events week after week, here’s something a little different. Lit Live is a monthly event held at the Centre for Stories which sees some of Perth’s best actors read entertaining short stories.

The gathering is held on the first Wednesday of every month and the next event is on Wednesday, June 6 at 7pm.  The theme this month is Crossing the Line: classic and contemporary stories about people who go one step too far.  And the consequences are, in turn, funny, dark, charming and tragic.

Joining Sarah McNeill as hosts are guest actors, Greg McNeill and Thomas Papathanassiou, reading between them, an American black comedy classic and a new West Australian drama, an Australian award-winner and a little-known gem of a thriller.

Lit Live is a relaxed and entertaining evening of great short fiction read live on stage at Centre for Stories in Northbridge. Tickets include wine and cheese.

The Centre for Stories is at 100 Aberdeen Street, Northbridge. Book tickets via their website
