Alyssa Edwards is the Dancing Queen in new Netflix docu-series

RuPaul’s Drag Race favourite Alyssa Edwards is death dropping into Netflix with her own documentary series following her life as a drag superstar.

The Season 5 and All Stars 2 break-out is the subject of Dancing Queen – a series that follows Edwards’ personal life as she tours the world and teaches at her dance school in her hometown of Mesquite in Texas.

Edwards, also known as Justin Johnson, is also billed as a producer of the 8-episode series – alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race production company World of Wonder and RuPaul Charles.

Check out the trailer below. The first season will premiere on Netflix around the globe on October 5.
