Anyone who saw the comical The Play That Goes Wrong will tell you its one of the funniest things you’ll ever see on stage, and now the players of the The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society are returning with a new production. Get ready for them to totally mess up the classic Peter Pan.

Joining the Play School favourite, are nine other talented performers, many of them also appeared in the previous production. They’ll be touring the country from December all the way through to March 2019.

Seven of the actors who had audiences in stitches in The Play That Goes Wrong -Darcy Brown, Francine Cain, Adam Dunn, Luke Joslin, George Kemp, Jordan Prosser and Tammy Weller will all be returning.

Experiencing the madness and mayhem for the first time will be Connor Crawford, who played John Paul Young in the Molly miniseries, and Teagan Wouters who recently starred as Nicola in the national tour of the musical Kinky Boots.

This new take on the J M Barrie classic, Peter Pan Goes Wrong is co-written by Mischief Theatre company members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields and includes highly physical comedy packed with finely-tuned farce and Buster Keaton-inspired slapstick, all delivered with split-second timing.

Mischief Theatre’s Henry Lewis joked, saying he was surprised they were able to get such a great cast.,

“We are amazed that actors of such high calibre are prepared to risk their careers by signing up to perform in this maniacal play.”

Peter Pan Goes Wrong premiered at the Pleasance Theatre in London in December 2013 before going on to tour the UK during 2014.  The production made its West End debut in 2015 for a Christmas season, returning the following year from October for another Christmas season, making it the third show running in the West End from the Mischief Theatre Company after The Play That Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery.

Book tickets via Peterpangoeswrong.com.au The production will be in Perth for just 14 performances in March 2019.
