Eminem is coming to Perth for the first time

The singer was recently criticised for using a gay slur on a track from his latest album. On the diss track Fall Eminem called fellow rapper Tyler the Creator a “faggot”. Eminem later said he recognised that in his attempts to hurt Tyler the Creator he may have also hurt other people.

“I think the word that I called him on that song was one of the things where I felt like this might be too far,” the Detroit-bred rapper explained to interviewer Swat Conway. “Because in my quest to hurt him, I realize that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it.”

The rapper surprised fans with new album Kamikaze which was released in August with little warning. It is the follow-up to his 2017 album Revival.

News of the tour spread yesterday ahead of the official announcement was inadvertently published by website news.com. The site quickly took down the information but not before fans had seen the news, including the revelation that Adelaide was being skipped on this tour.
