WAAPA’s final dance season for the year, Verge, is moving to one of Perth’s best loved venues, the Regal Theatre.

The change is due to unforeseen technical challenges at the original venue, the Geoff Gibbs Theatre at Edith Cowan University, Mount Lawley.

Verge will now take place at the Regal Theatre on Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21, Thursday 22 and Friday 23 November from 7.30pm.

The previously advertised performances on Saturday 17, Monday 19 and Saturday 24 November have been cancelled. All tickets will be honoured and the WAAPA Box Office team are contacting all patrons about the change of dates and venue.

WAAPA’s final dance season for 2018 offers something for all dance lovers to enjoy. The Verge program ranges from exciting new contemporary works, featuring live musicians, to a lyrical celebration of the Romantic ballerina for lovers of classical ballet.

Audiences will enjoy new works by visiting international choreographer Filipa Peraltinha and local dance legend Sue Peacock; a remount of Rafael Bonachela’s 2 in D minor by award-winning dancer David Mack, who was in the original Sydney Dance Company cast; and a classical ballet reimaging by WAAPA’s Coordinator of Classical Ballet, Kim McCarthy.

Verge is at The Regal Theatre in Subiaco Tue 20, Wed 21, Thu 22 & Fri 23 November at 7.30pm, book tickets now.
