Talented Perth musician Carla Geneve is heading out for a national tour that will see her play some solos shows in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. She’ll also be supporting Holy Holy on their tour and fitting in some additional solo shows as they head around the country.
Geneve just won the WAM Song of the Year competition with her hit tune Greg’s Discount Chemist and her new self-titled EP has been the feature album of the week on RTRFM 92.1
The new dates come fresh off the back of her debut tour of North America where she played as support for another local band San Cisco. Geneve’s certainly having a big year in 2019 having played the Laneway Festival and toured with Cat Power and Kurt Vile.
THe singer-songwriter has just released a video for her track Things Change that was filmed on her trip around North America.
“The video is a tour diary of sorts for my first ever shows in North America. It has been a year of big change for me and I felt like being on the road and touring was very significant of a big shift in my life. I wanted to capture some of the moments on the road that people don’t usually get to see – from travel to preparing for a show to everything in between.” Geneve said.
