Rumours are circulating that Lady Gaga is set to return to the silver screen in another revival of an old favourite.

Us Weekly are reporting that Gaga has been offered a role in Warner Brothers’ upcoming reboot of Little Shop of Horrors.

Originally The Little Shop Of Horrors was a cult hit in 1960, which was transformed into a stage musical by Alen Menken and Howard Ashman in 1982.

The tale later returned to the screen in 1982 under the direction of Muppets legend Frank Oz, with comedy icons Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, Jim Belushi, John Candy and Bill Murray.

Gaga is expected to take on the role of Audrey, a florist who works along with the tale’s main character Seymour – who becomes obsessed with a talking, flesh-eating plant.
