2007 DMC World DJ Championships

2007 DMC World DJ ChampionshipsIn the DJ world there is no greater crown than a title in the DMC World DJ Championships. As a spectator there is nothing more exciting than watching the best in the game battle it out for a chance at glory. Combine the two and you’ve got an event more memorable than a night in the slammer with Paris Hilton!

For over 20 years the DMC’s have propelled to stardom the likes of Cash Money, A-Trak, RockSteady DJs (Mixmaster Mike, Q-Bert & DJ Apollo), Scratch Perverts, three times world Champion, DJ Craze and Australia’s own DJ Dexter (The Avalanches).

Proudly presented by TDK and DMC Australia and supported by adidas Originals stores, Ortofon, Myspace, Technics, and triple j, state heats of the Championships are happening across Australia during June, with the Victorian final confirmed for Friday 13th June at the HiFi Bar and the National finals going down in Melbourne on 17th August at the mighty Metro.

Any DJs across the country who think they have the skills necessary to beat the best of the best should contact DMC Australia immediately for an application form on 03 9824 0944 or email stewart@dmcrecords.com.au. Perth DJs should enter the competition at Heat Nightclub on July 14th. For regular updates go to www.dmcrecords.com.au.
