Ours is a city on the grow. It’s evident everywhere you look. The resource boom is just that – an explosion of activity, an almost insane, insatiable consumerist attitude that engulfs Perth from the inside out. Local realist painter Garry Pumfrey has captured the prolific surge of industrialisation in a vivid collection of pictures for his exhibition Terraform II at The Turner Galleries.
