Aging Conference

Last month at two National Aging conference held in Sydney, the topic of what happens to gays and lesbian when they get old was hotly discussed.
Partners having a say on medical treatments and medical staff not being sensitive to the needs of older gays and lesbians were featured segments.

The Australian Association of Gerontology conference, titled Diversity in Aging
looked at issues including living with HIV/AIDS in aged care facilities, identity needs and the fear of disclosing sexuality.
