Car Crashes Outside The Court

DSC_0482WMDSC_0491WMPatrons waiting in line to enter The Court Hotel last night were given a surprise when a car crashed right in front of the venue’s entrance.

The accident occurred near midnight when the driver, who was intending to park in the no standing area in front of the venue, over estimated the distance and crashed into a parked vehicle. The force of the impact sent the parked car into the next parked car  along  the street.

As the drivers tires spun on the curb, the area quickly filled with smoke and the smell of burning rubber. Venue staff quickly responded to the accident helping the driver and assuring patrons that there was no danger. Police attended the scene.
