Eurovision Gets a Google Doodle

Fullscreen capture 23052015 123208 AM-001Google has acknowledged the 60th annual Eurovision Song Contest by creating a google doodle for the event.

The drawing highlights Europe’s diversity with a mix of different cartoon characters.

We can’t help but notice that thie central character has a resemblance to a few of this year’s contestants. Is it just us, or does she looks a bit like Serbia’s Bojana Stamenov?

Each day the internet search engine changes it’s imagary to draw attention to a particualar event, historical date or cause.

The Eurovision Song Contest’s Grand Final will take place on Saturday night in Vienna and will be broadcast live on SBS on Sunday morning.
