Vanessa May is the new advertising executive here at OUTinPerth and she’s the cat’s meow, especially when it comes to here pet kitty, Pippi. The two are inseparable, which is surprising since Vanessa always considered herself to be a dog person. That was, until, Pippi purred her way into Miss May’s heart.

Vanessa moved into a shared house over two years ago and was disheartened when she learnt that her landlord wouldn’t allow dogs. Cats, however, were a completely different kettle of canned fish. It was with great reluctance though that Vanessa set out in search of the purr-fect pet, certain that cats weren’t loyal like good old dogs.

How wrong she was. Pippi, it appears, is a pleasure – affectionate, talkative and a furr-tile source of fun. Late nights from Vanessa are met with loud lectures from Pippi. Collars are an issue too – Pippi’s recent birthday present of a gorgeous new collar has already been lost by this fluffy feline.
